Speaker Biography (Giles Lloyd)

Dr. Giles Lloyd has worked in the field of semiconductors and electronics for 22 years. He received a PhD from the University of Liverpool in solid state electronics. For the last 16 years he has worked on novel electronic material and devices as well as process development, all within major chemical companies including the current position at Merck. His career spans R&D, Global Business Development and Strategic Marketing across the semiconductor and new electronics markets and applications. He is also currently coordinating the EU Horizon 2020 project ATLASS which aims to take printed electronics beyond displays.
