Futaba is expanding the production availability of flexible PM-OLED displays. This ultra-thin display with current diagonal sizes up to 1,8" in mono- & multi-color format is supporting resolutions up to 256x64 pixels at luminance of 700 cd/m2. The bending radius of 40mm make it highly suitable for all kind of Wearables .

FUTABA CORPORATION was established in 1948 and is market leader in vacuum fluorescent displays (VFD), radio control equipment and die set components. By 2011 Futaba acquired TDK Micro Device (TMD), which was developing and manufacturing OLED displays since 1997 and owned by TDK Corp. Through this alliance Futaba added OLED technology to its product line, offering similar features as VFD and adding additional benefits like thinness/lightness, low power consumption and small pixel size.
