Speaker Biography (Christian Wegener)

After completing grammar school, Christian Wegener joined Siemens Berlin in the year 1979 at the age of 17. After his successful study in precision engineering in the major field of hardware manu-facturing and electronics, he joined Corporate Technology in 1990. For more than 25 years he is responsible for different kinds of projects, like reliability management for connector technologies, introducing new packaging types for semiconductor LED's up to lifecycle assessment for product related environmental research and studies. Christian Wegener lives in Berlin, Germany, likes dif-ferent kinds of sports and has his own music project External Link.
