Integrating Printed Electronic Elements (Printed Electronics USA 2017)

In order for printed electronics to become ubiquitous at least simple functions need to be integrated into a multicomponent device that has economic value. Here we present our current research in that direction.

Dr. Ray is a founder of NthDegree Technologies Worldwide Inc. NthDegree conducts research into and commercializes a number of forms of printed electronics. He is the Chief Technical Advisor of Printed Energy Pty Ltd. Printed Energy, an Nth spinoff, which conducts research in energy storage and energy acquisition.

He holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics, a Masters in Statistics and a BA in Physics and Chemistry. He is a member of TAGA, American Association for the Advancement of Science, IEEE, the Society for Information Display, the American Chemical Society and the American Institute of Physics. He is a past President of TAGA.

He is a named inventor on more than 100 patents or active applications in the areas of semiconductors, optics, opto-electrical devices, printing, energy storage, photovoltaic devices, water filtration / desalinization and, specialized film coating / patterned manufacturing systems.
