The concept of an in-wheel motor was first demonstrated by Ferdinand Porsche in 1898 but not until today have the correct conditions existed in the Mobility Industry for Porsche's dream to become a reality. Today's demands for Electric Drive solutions to reduce energy consumption, invigorate the driving experience and provide vehicle designers with freedom innovate provide the market requirements which are matched to the benefits of in-wheel motors. Protean Electric's pioneering design along with its tenacious and rigorous development process can now realize an in-wheel motor product to match these market needs. In this presentation Protean Electric will highlight how its products are leading the charge of mainstream adoption of in-wheel motors.
