Bernhard Münzing, Sales Director The Sixth Element (Changzhou) Materials Technology, China, is responsible for all international marketing and sales activities of The Sixth Element, the leading graphene supplier, with focus on EMEA. Being "Wirtschaftsingenieur Technische Chemie", he started his career at BASF as a sales engineer for prepreg systems. This was followed by head of materials management at Brüggemann, a medium chemical company, focusing on reducing agents, plastic additives and ethanol. Additionally, he was also responsible for the market introduction of a new very active zinc oxide. After having served for 2 years as a sales manager in a small coating company in Germany, he worked for almost 18 years at GELITA, the leading gelatine manufacturer. He held various positions in sales and marketing, thereof 11 years with focus on business development, innovation and key account management for Japanese customers. Since July 2016 he is with Sixth Element.
The Sixth Element (Changzhou) Materials Technology, founded in 2011, is the leading manufacturer of graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, graphene and CVD graphene (called Graphene film) in China. With a current production capacity of 400 t/year The Sixth Element serves all relevant applications with special designed products. As of April 2020 the capacity will go up to 1000 t/a. The Sixth Element is one of the three founding members of the REACh Graphene Registration Consortium and has registered as substances graphene and graphene oxide with reduced graphene oxide to follow end of 2020.
