Dávid Forgács Ph.D. (29) - nanoscientist with 5 years of research and industrial experience in Organic- and Perovskite Photovoltaics, gathered at internationally recognized institutions. He carried out his master thesis at Fraunhofer-ISE, working on the fabrication and development of solution processed organic tandem solar cells in the group of Dr. Uli Wuerfel. He pursued his doctoral studies at the University of Valencia under the supervision of Dr. Henk Bolink, with a primary focus on fabricating perovskite / perovskite tandem solar cells. During his studies, he gained hands-on experience in the large-scale production of printed organic photovoltaics at Opvius GmbH. He joined Saule in 2017, and he is currently working as the Director of Knowledge Management.
Saule Technologies is one of the first companies in the world working on the commercialization of perovskites in the new generation of photovoltaic cells. The company has pioneered the application of ink-jet printing for the fabrication of flexible, light-weight, semi-transparent and efficient perovskite solar modules. These devices offer excellent light harvesting properties in artificial- and low-light conditions, as well as custom design layouts - making them an excellent choice to power autonomous IoT, industry 4.0, and sensor applications. The first products of Saule are available for IoT applications
