Materials from Covestro have been used for many years in the electronics industry, and together with our expertise in mobility they are now expanding into automotive battery packaging. In this presentation, Covestro will give an overview of how to support the different design challenges of the battery modules, addressing safety (mechanical, flame, crash) and cooling solutions whilst making a module design fit for mass-assembly. We focus on the dimensional stability and the assembling options with our plastic materials.
