Production and use of RFID tags and wireless sensors are contributing to the worldwide environmental pollution. Predominantly designed as single-use products and PET-based, millions of units are being put in the trash on a daily basis. Replacing PET by paper and manufacturing with cleaner processes make this technology more eco-friendly and substainable.
