Vehicles have had connectivity for a long time, longer than most might think. However, OEMs have had a stranglehold on the data available from cars. It is mainly used for their own telematics analysis and has provided little added value to vehicle owners. Android Auto Operating System has standardized data from the vehicle and AiDEN has jumped on this as an opportunity to revolutionise connected vehicle services.
