Rolls-Royce SMR is developing a pressurized water reactor-based nuclear small modular reactor (SMR). Compared to other SMR projects, the approach is relatively conservative and the power output is large. IDTechEx attended CEO Tom Samson's presentation at the 2022 World Nuclear Symposium.
