Sense Photonics

Since founded in 2016, Sense Photonics (Sense) has been working on flash lidar built on scalable VCSEL & SPAD technology as a fabless company.

Sense Photonics manufacture LiDAR systems, using sensors from Infineon. This update covers its recently released flexible laser array, and is based on a presentation given at the Image Sensor 2020 online conference.

At CES 2020 IDTechEx interviewed SENSE, a 50 person company that provides long range solid state LIDAR. The company fabricates its own lasers (most others, they claim, buy in parts).

Sense Photonics offer lidar modules and operated in stealth mode until June 2019. IDTechEx interviewed Mr Russell Kanjorski in April 2019. Kanjorski is Co-Founder and CCO of Sense Photonics, and he is based in USA.
