The maturity of graphene development is such that industrial engagement is needed to further develop the technology and bring graphene based products to market. Bosch has joined a growing number of companies evaluating potential applications, and potential methods for volume manufacturing. This presentation addresses promising processes for volume manufacturing, and progress Bosch has made in developing a magnetic sensor in collaboration with Academia.
Speaker Biography (Timothy Schultz)
Tim Schultz is a microsystems technology project leader at the Bosch Research and Technology Center in Palo Alto, California. He has more than 20 years of semiconductor process engineering experience, including over a decade of leading and contributing to MEMS process development in both start-up and corporate settings.
Prior to coming to the Bosch Research and Technology Center in Palo Alto, Tim was a MEMS technology team leader for Bosch in Reutlingen, Germany, where he led a MEMS sensor process development team within the engineering sensors technology department at the Bosch facility that manufactures more than four million MEMS sensors per day.
Previously, Tim held leadership and engineering positions at Lilliputian Systems, Endevco, Onix Microsystems and Honeywell.
Tim holds a graduate degree in physics from the University of Florida and an undergraduate degree from San Diego State University
