Speaker Biography (Alexander Zosel)

Zosel Alexander was born in 1965 and has two sons.
He is CEO and Co founder of e-volo, and is one of the three inventors of the Volocopter.
 
2012 he won with e-volo the international Lindbergh Foundation Prize for innovation.
 
He studied at the University of Karlsruhe Civil Engineering and works now for over 20 years as a successful entrepreneur.
One of his earlier projects was the innovative invention of a fog distribution system for the show and event industry including patents and global launch.
 
2009 - 2011 he worked in the field of biometric authentication method, and was Vice-President/Innovation of the Swiss Biometry.COM AG in Lucerne.
 
He ran for 12 years until 2009, the very successful discotheque "Unterhaus" in Karlsruhe.
 
He was until 2009 Co founder and at times sports director of the first division basketballteam BG Karlsruhe.
 
He was a professional sportsman in various sports:
Basketball, Snowboard (World Cup), Skateboard (2nd at the German Championships).
 
He is an avid paraglider pilot and a certified flight instructor.
