Henkel would like to invite you to have an inside look at the materials used in the creation of smart health patches for on-body applications. A demonstrator patch that can be worn for up to a week and can monitor multiple body functions at the same time will be shown. The innovative Henkel material solutions for wearable devices allowed to make this a success and will allow to bring other wearable applications to the market in the near future.

Speaker Biography (Inge van der Meulen)

After receiving her PhD from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2010 in the field of polymers for medical applications, Inge performed 2 years of applied research at the same university focussing on adhesives from renewable resources, before joining Henkel Electronic Materials in 2012. During the first 4 years she worked on the development of new conductive adhesives and inks for electronic applications. She is the Product Development Manager for the inks and coatings product line, overseeing all new developments for this product line, wherein wearable sensors and flexible electronics are focus areas.
