The Automotive Display Eco-System - A Complex Environment

Modern automotive interiors are evolving at a tremendously fast pace, moving past the mechanical dials and becoming fully electronic. The key attributes of these electronics are noticed by consumers, such as the design of the display, its curvature, brightness, and type of technology, i.e., OLED or LCD, when, in reality, there is a lot more that goes into building the display and assembling the entire unit.

Hony Glass Technology

Founded in 1978, Hony Glass specialize in manufacturing tempered glass to multiple industries worldwide. The company are headquartered in Taiwan and have their main factory in Shenzhen. They provide glass to multiple industries, including cover glass in televisions and computer monitors; home appliances, such as hobs and overhead lighting; as well as bathware.

CarUX/Innolux

Founded in 2003, Innolux Corporation is a company based in Taiwan that produces TFT-LCD displays. CarUX Technology Ltd is a new entity created and owned by Innolux that specializes in delivering TFT-LCD panels to the automotive sector. It is focused on next generation automotive displays and the future of mobility.
