AeroVironment receives $16 million order

AeroVironment, Inc. recently announced that it received a $15,909,962 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract order on September 1, 2011, under an existing contract with the U.S. Army. The order comprises Army contractor logistics support for Raven systems. The logistics support services are scheduled to be delivered within the next several months.

Widening government support for printed electronics

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. announced that the U.S. Army's Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) demonstrated the Clandestine Extended Range Vehicle (CERV) as part of special events ramping to the Indianapolis 500.
