Volkswagen Group China Unveils Passenger Drone Prototype
Volkswagen Group China has unveiled its first electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing passenger drone prototype, as part of its strategy to explore and break new ground in fully electric and sustainable individual mobility concepts. After intensive research, conceptual work, and development, the project team has now developed its first validation model - the V.MO. This initial prototype has also been nicknamed the 'Flying Tiger' due to its distinctive black and gold livery, which was painted to commemorate its launch in the Year of the Tiger.

Volkswagen Group broke the ground for its first cell factory in Salzgitter. Production will start in 2025. With immediate effect, responsibility for global battery business is to be held by the newly created company "PowerCo". Ford is investing $22 billion in electrification through 2025 as part of its plan to lead electrification in areas of strength. The company is electrifying its most iconic products - the Mustang, F-150 and Transit - with many more to come in the years ahead. A key part of Ford's goal to drive the adoption of electric vehicles is to target the large market for fully electric commercial vans and pickups. The company has had some initial success while entering the market, but now faces competition from other OEMs and their offerings.
