Dynamic WPT
Electreon is the current leader in deploying dynamic wireless charging systems globally and the biggest competitors to DWPT. Electreon has successfully completed real world demonstrations and is partnered with large OEMs like Stellantis, IVECO, and the VW Group. However, Electreon's technology is expensive (electrifying a 1 mile section of road in Michigan is estimated to cost US$2.4 million) and low powered (achieving maximum power transfer of 30 kW). DWPT claims that its full-scale systems will be capable of up to 800 kW, which, if achieved, would be the highest power dynamic wireless charging solution on the market.
