Fraunhofer-IZM, is part of the Fraunhofer Society, a non-profit organization comprising 60 autonomous institutes in different technical and societal fields with around 12000 employees. The mission of Fraunhofer society is to support innovation and development in industry on the basis of development contracts and public funded research projects.
