Waymo LLC offer lidar modules.

Lidar technologies and markets are rapidly evolving, and IDTechEx are tracking more than one hundred 3D lidar companies worldwide. This two-part article presents insights from the new IDTechEx report titled Lidar 2020-2030.

Phoenix LiDAR Systems offer lidar modules.

OSIGHT offer lidar modules. The company have launched several 2D lidar products and one 3D lidar product.

Omron offer lidar modules. In 2017, Omron reported the development of a short-range 3D lidar, which can be embedded around a vehicle.

Ocular Robotics offer lidar modules. The first RobotEye lidar product (REO5) was launched in 2012.

Neuvition offer lidar modules. Neuvition's lidars have a patent pending modular lidar design that combines a central control unit with up to six compact sensor heads.

NODAR are a stealth mode start-up founded my alumni of MIT (USA), and the company are developing a 3D sensor module.

Ou Lei Laser Technology offer lidar modules. Ou Lei have launched two 3D lidar products. Both are 16-channel lidars, but the beam steering mechanism is not specified.

For all our technological advances, nothing beats evolution when it comes to research and development. Take jumping spiders. These small arachnids have impressive depth perception despite their tiny brains, allowing them to accurately pounce on unsuspecting targets from several body lengths away.
