6th Printed Intelligence Industry Seminar Organised by PrintoCent

PrintoCent community organized the world's biggest theme week around printed intelligence. Main event of the week was PRINSE'20 seminar, which covered topics including eco-efficiency and sustainability, structural electronics, intelligent diagnostics and the emerging capacity growth in Roll-2-Roll manufacturing industry with over 60 industry speakers.

FlexEnable

Formerly part of Plastic Logic, FlexEnable has developed a flexible organic thin film transistor (OTFT) backplane that can be produced at low temperatures. It then licenses this technology to manufacturers, with a key selling point that it can be integrated into existing LCD display fabrication lines to produce curved OLCD displays.

The company is involved in the printed and flexible electronics market, including a ring product using flexible, organic electronics to create a non-invasive optical sensing technique for a variety of physiological parameters. They are also involved in custom cabling solutions via sister company, New Cable Corporation.

Smart and flexible energy supply platform for wearable electronics

The aim of the project is the creation of an autonomous energy-supply platform. Based on the results of the project it will be possible to use a wearable without caring about recharging over its entire lifetime.
