Wevo-Chemie GmbH is a family-owned multi-national specialty chemicals company with headquarter in Ostfildern, Germany and subsidiaries in China, Asia and the United States. We are specialists in casting, bonding and sealing. Wevo develops and produces resin systems, primarily for use in electrical and electronic equipment, and in particular for automotive electronics. Wevo products protect sensitive electronic components against humidity, chemicals, high temperatures, dust and particles. In short: Wevo products ensure safety and efficiency.

Since 75 years Wevo-Chemie produces and develops tailor-made electrically insulating materials based on polyurethane, epoxy and silicone. These are typically used as potting and encapsulation materials, adhesives, sealants, coatings and thermal interface materials to protect electronic and electrical components in automotive, energy, home and engineering applications. Combined with their heat-resistance and their thermal conductivity Wevo's performance materials help to dissipate the heat and thereby contribute to a higher efficiency and a longer product life.

New applications fields cover e-Mobility and energy storage applications as e,g. assembly of battery packs and potting of stators for e-machines and evolving technologies as e.g. sealants and encapsulants for Redox Flow Batteries and e-Textiles.
