Computational Data Analysis in DNA Nanopore Sequencing

07 June 2022 by Brendan Beh
Nanopore sequencers are an emergent technology in the field of DNA sequencing, with the potential to significantly reduce costs and increase speeds of sequencing. However, they are subject to large amounts of noise; as such, computational tools are required for analyzing data and refining results. In this premium article, IDTechEx explores several of these tools, discussing the AI systems used in translating signals into DNA sequences and identifying several trends seen in the development of these computational platforms.
