Velo3D Sapphire XC 1MZ to Enable Large-format Metal 3D Printing
Velo3D Inc announced a new addition to its Sapphire family of printers with the Sapphire XC 1MZ. The new printer allows customers to print parts one meter in height—with a total build volume that is twice that of the Sapphire XC and nine times larger than the original Sapphire—increasing the addressable use-cases of Velo3D's end-to-end metal additive manufacturing solution.

Fuel Cells Are Not the Problem, the Hydrogen Fuel Is
On the face of it, 2021 was a good year for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) in passenger car markets. Toyota, with their second generation Mirai FCEV, and Hyundai, with their NEXO FCEV, both had record sales, which largely made up for Honda announcing in June 2021 that it had decided to pull the plug on production of their Honda Clarity FCV (citing the lack of hydrogen infrastructure and weak demand).

Honda Tests Prototype Autonomous Work Vehicle
Honda and Black & Veatch have successfully tested the prototype Honda Autonomous Work Vehicle.
