As a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Energetics Center, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is a leader in the Navy's Energetics Enterprise. Its mission is to provide research, development, test and evaluation and in-service support of energetics and energetic materials for propulsion systems, ordnance & pyrotechnic devices and fuzing for Navy, Joint Forces, and the Nation.
