Dr Wendy Kneissl is a physicist with a background spanning both academe and industry. Holding a PhD from the University of Cambridge, she has also undertaken research with the Max-Planck Society in Germany and at the R&D centers of Schlumberger Oilfield Services and Korean conglomerate Doosan. She has invented and commercialized a number of technologies within the energy industries, and has also undertaken market research and technology scouting activities. She is a former Director of the Electricity Policy Forum at the University of Cambridge and remains a Senior Member of Wolfson College Cambridge. She holds an advanced Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics and Politics.
