Developments in Wireless Powering Devices and Displays (Energy Harvesting & Storage USA 2015)

Wireless power is now integrated into over 85 mobile phones, 22 automobile models, numerous lines of furniture and is now seeing adoption in hotel and restaurant charging spots. This presentation will address markets and different forms of wireless power technologies . Potential point of purchase, fixture and display (retail applications) will be presented.

LeRoy Johnson, P.E.

Has recently retired from Leggett & Platt and served as their Director of Emerging Technologies. At Leggett, he championed commercialization of wireless power in automotive, furniture and point of purchase markets. Mr. Johnson has over 25 US patents, many in the field of wireless power. He has chaired application working groups on wireless power, been on the steering group of the WPC and chairs the annual International Wireless Power Summit.
