Speaker Biography (Wayne Cranton)Wayne Cranton, Professor of Visual Technology at Nottingham Trent University, has been working in thin films and displays research since 1991, is the Research Coordinator in the School of Science & Technology and is a founding partner of the UK DisplayMasters Programme. As the Head of the Displays Research Group at Nottingham Trent, he has developed a novel high intensity electroluminescent technology for use in near to eye displays, and is working on laser processing techniques for printed and flexible device fabrication based on inorganic thin films.
