THz Nano-Devices for Energy Harvesting (Energy Harvesting & Storage USA 2009)

Graham is a has spent many years working at the cutting edge of research and development in both academic and commercial environments. As a doctorate level researcher he worked on a variety of topics ranging from gene regulation mechanisms to viral defence machinery. He helped form a spin-out company from the University of Edinburgh that developed and sold bioinformatics solutions to pharmaceutical companies. He has a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

 

As a Venture Manager at UMIP he now helps academics to develop and commercialise their intellectual property from initial idea to venture-backed spin-out company. He is currently working with Professor Aimin Song from the University of Manchester to explore the technical and commercial feasibility of THz rectennas for energy harvesting.
