Profile
Qualcomm Halo believes that wireless charging, which is simple and convenient, with minimum driver intervention will eventually become the preferred charging method for all EVs.

The Qualcomm Halo wireless Electric Vehicle Charging (WEVC) technology has a high tolerance to misalignment of the charging pads. This makes parking simple; there is no need for complex alignment or expensive vehicle guidance systems. There is no street furniture to clutter the sidewalk and the base charging unit can be buried under the parking bay surface. The system performance is also not affected by rain, snow or ice.

WEVC technology is ideally suited to stationary wireless charging, but also enables dynamic wireless charging - charging the electric vehicle battery while the vehicle is on the move.
