2014年11月11日

Understand how wearable technology provides biometric insights at the Canadian pavilion's demonstration area.
Time for some fun - and there's plenty to be had at the world's largest event on printed electronics, which will be hosted by IDTechEx in Santa Clara, CA in just a few days' time on Nov 19-20 (www.PrintedElectronicsUSA.com
).

Team Canada, with their 1,000 sq. foot pavilion at the tradeshow, will be highlighting the latest products out of Canada's most innovative printed electronics companies, and in particular will demonstrate how printed electronics systems and wearable technology can be used to track real-time biometrics in live hockey action that visitors can participate in.
"Team Canada PE extends a warm welcome to all IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA 2014 visitors!" says Thomas Ducellier, Executive Director of the National Research Council Canada's Printable Electronics program. "Not only will visitors to the Canadian pavilion learn about the full spectrum of Canada's end-to-end solutions in PE materials, components, systems and wearables, they will also be able to see for themselves how some of these technologies perform in real "live" hockey action in the demonstration area and have the chance to win prizes including Team Canada PE hockey jerseys and smart shirts."
Raghu Das, CEO of IDTechEx, the leading research and events firm hosting the event, says, "Our event is all about learning, teaching and sharing which will help visitors both personally and as part of their organization to profit from emerging technologies. The many rewarding networking experiences, such as the hockey themed game, will enable visitors to do more business and build close relationships. What will be your lasting memory?"
Das continues, "Representation from exhibitors all over the world has been tremendous, who will interact with attendees coming from 36 countries - a truly international event. In particular, I am delighted that so many players in Canada's PE sector will showcase their innovative technologies in the Canadian pavilion."
