Bio
Dr. Charlotte Coles is a technology analyst at IDTechEx, based at the UK analyst office in central Cambridge.
Education
Charlotte was awarded her PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. She has authored several academic papers on her PhD research, and presented at international conferences.
Prior to her PhD she studied for her MA(Cantab)/MEng, consisting of an initial general study over a range of engineering topics, with a final Masters specialisation in mechanical and aerospace engineering.
Research Field
At IDTechEx, Charlotte's research focuses on a range of topics, analysing data from both primary and secondary sources to identify the underlying trends behind the data. She focuses on the following markets:
- Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality, including specific use cases of optics and displays in AR/VR technologies.
- Sensors in water analytics.
