Bio
James Kennedy is a Technology Analyst at IDTechEx working in the field of materials and sustainability. Before joining IDTechEx in 2023, James graduated from King's College London in 2022 with an MSci Chemistry degree. He is currently based in London, UK.
Education
James studied at King's College London studying Chemistry (with Biomedicine). Throughout his studies he built a strong foundation in all areas of Chemistry with specialization in organic and biochemistry. He completed a master's thesis in computational bioinformatics in the study of the structure and dynamics of antibody proteins at the Randall Centre for Cell & Molecular Biophysics.
Research
At IDTechEx, James is working in the field of materials and sustainability with a particular interest in chemical recycling of plastic and biomaterials, helping to understand the feasibility of emerging technologies and the current marketplace.
