Speaker Biography (Yuan Yang)

Yuan Yang received his B.S. degree from School of Physics, Peking University in 2007. He is currently a Ph. D. candidate in Department of Materials Science at Stanford University. Yuan Yang has seven years experience in nanoscience and technology, focusing on synthesis of nanomaterials, and their applications in energy storage. He is currently working on various aspects of energy storage devices, including high energy cathode materials and diagnostic tools for Li-ion batteries. He also developed a transparent battery and paper and textile-based batteries and Supercapacitors together with his colleagues.
