Speaker Biography (Chris King)
Chris King is Global Chief Regulatory Officer of Siemens Smart Grid, leading policy strategy and initiatives worldwide.
Prior to Siemens, Chris held executive positions at the U.S.'s largest utility, Pacific Gas & Electric, and three Silicon Valley energy start-ups. An internationally recognized expert, author, and speaker, Mr. King chairs the Brussels-based Smart Energy Demand Coalition and is Vice Chair of the Association for Smart Grid and Demand Response. He has testified before the U.S. Congress, several U.S. states, and international regulatory bodies. Mr. King holds bachelors and masters degrees in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, a masters from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, and a doctorate from Concord Law School.
