Dr Zixin Wang Technology Analyst
Bio
Dr Zixin Wang is a Technology Analyst at IDTechEx. Zixin's work at IDTechEx is primarily focused on the topic of printed and flexible electronics. Prior to joining in 2023, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Manchester in the Henry Royce Institute, her research dealt with commercializing the wearable and sustainable printed sweat sensors.
Education
Zixin received her PhD in Materials Science at the University of Manchester. Having undertaken research in studying the inkjet-printed sensor structures in textiles, she has obtained comprehensive knowledge and experience in additive manufacturing. During her MRes in Nanostructured Materials, she acquired expertise in manufacturing and characterizing graphene-enhanced nanocomposites. Zixin has been actively promoting her research work, she has publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and was honored with several awards.
Research Field
At IDTechEx, Zixin is working on Printed and Flexible Electronics with a particular focus on 3D printed electronics and in-mold electronics.
