iBeam Materials Inc
i-BEAM Material is a small technology spin out from Los Alamos National Laboratory that focuses on roll-to-roll production of large-area substrates used in inorganic LED growth. The objective is to couple this with roll-to-roll epitaxial equipment to scale up the size of LED wafers and convert LEDs from being a point source light to a surface emission one (similar to OLEDs). It is still however early days and the LED performance has a long way to go.

The Complex World of ITO Replacement

Silicon anode batteries: the Holy Grail?
