Microgrid Forecasts: Off-Grid Zero-Emission 2020-2040

In 2020, only modest numbers of zero-emission microgrids were being delivered. On current evidence, we find some certainties. Zero-emission, off grid (including fringe-of-grid) is a trend for many reasons already presented but it is, as yet, a slow trend for reasons discussed within the article.
