Creating a New Guest Experience using RFID Technology (RFID Europe 2010)

Michael McDermott joined RTP in 2007 as the senior vice president of sales, marketing and product management. Over the past three years, McDermott has been instrumental in expanding the company internationally, introducing RFID resort management, launching mobile augmented reality navigation with social messaging and developing SaaS point-of sale products while managing double-digit sales growth. Prior to joining RTP, McDermott spent nine years in senior management roles at the vertical enterprise software companies of Cheetah Advanced Technologies and Maxwell. His 18-year career also includes sales and marketing experience at Peoplesoft, J.D. Edwards, and regional advertising and public relations agencies where he consistently exceeded client and company objectives. McDermott is a graduate of Colorado State University and resides in Colorado with his wife and daughter.
