With a background in mechanics and large scale computation, Giovanna has been researching next generation energy storage devices. Giovanna received a PhD from the Politecnico di Milano. She held a postdoctoral appointment at Brown University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She recently joined the Energy Storage Research team at Bosch, Palo Alto.
Giovanna seeks to improve performance and reliability of energy storage systems by investigating the fundamental mechanisms of operation and degradation with rigorous mesoscale models.
