Multi-Directional-Weaving - A Diagonal Approach To Wearable Technologies (Wearable Europe 2020)

The presentation will focus on the process of multi-directional-weaving, the kind of functional materials used in the weft laying thread and the applications of this technology for smart textiles. Individually shaped heating fabrics, illuminated textiles or fabrics used as a sensor will be shown as examples.
