プレゼンテーション概要

Introduction to the light-emitting electrochemical cell (LEC)
Advantages of the LEC compared to other lighting technologies
Demonstration of LEC fabrication in air

講演者の経歴 (Andreas Sandström)

Andreas Sandström received a master of science degree in engineering in 2009, and has since then worked on LECs with a primary focus on device upscaling. In 2013, he received his PhD on the subject. In parallel to his academic research, Andreas has been the acting CTO of LunaLEC since its founding in 2012.

会社紹介 (LunaLEC AB)

LunaLEC AB logo
LunaLEC develops the technology for producing lighting panels in ambient conditions. The technology is suitable for integrations into printed electronics, or for manufacturing of small volumes of customized shapes or patterns. The solutions are based on proprietary technology in the field of Light-Emitting Electrochemical Cells. The components can operate at low voltage, less than 6 VDC, which make them safe, and they can use power from, for example, small watch-batteries. Current prototypes are based on glass for best performance, or on flexible materials for better form factor. Labels, sensors, greeting cards or disposable medtech products are potential applications.
