Deb Johnson is the Founder and Executive Director of the Pratt Institute/Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, a hub for ethical fashion and responsible technology that promotes triple bottom line values that link financial success to an ethical and sustainable supply chain. Deb also founded the Center for Sustainable Design Strategies at Pratt Institute and has been leading the integration of sustainability into Pratt's art, design and architecture programs for over 15 years. Johnson chaired Pratt's Industrial Design program from 1997-2005.

Pratt Institute's Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator (BF+DA) is a hub for ethical fashion and design and provides its Venture Fellow businesses access to on-site business mentorship and small-run apparel production. The BF+DA is also an innovation space for creative technologists, academic researchers and industry innovators working to connect technology and sustainability to a 21st century vision ocused on transforming the fashion industry.

The BF+DA offers sustainable strategies consulting, materials sourcing and links to existing NYC manufacturers.
