We will discuss the challenges faced when trying to not only extract usable energy but maximize the amount obtained from these sources
We'll also look at what can be realistically powered from that energy including Wireless Sensor Node Applications

Jim Noon joined Linear Technology as an Applications Engineering Section Leader in the Manchester, NH Design Center in July of 2008. He is responsible for general purpose DC/DC converters, power management, and Energy Harvesting products. He has over 25 years of experience as a design engineer, systems engineer, and applications engineer at various companies. He has a BS degree from The College of New Jersey, and a MSEE degree from

Virginia Tech.
