Zehao Li Technology Analyst

Zehao is a Technology Analyst at IDTechEx, primarily focusing on technologies within the robotics and autonomy sector. Prior to IDTechEx, Zehao graduated from Imperial College London with a master's degree in Human and Biological Robotics, having undertaken research and projects associated with visual guidance, autonomous navigation, machine learning, video tracking and data analysis.

Zehao was awarded a MSc degree in Human and Biological Robotics from Imperial College London. He gained solid knowledge and skills in the aspects of robotics, medical devices, control systems and bio-inspired technologies. He has worked with Neuromechanics and Bioinspired Technologies (NBITS) lab group and established a universal protocol of extracting dominant characteristics from wing flutter video, which could be implemented on a variety of research related to aeroelastic flutter and motion pattern recognition to study the novel 'fly-by-feel' topic.

 

Zehao received joint BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering with first class honours from both University of Edinburgh and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). During undergraduate studies he obtained his engineering expertise in diverse areas such as material mechanics, structural mechanics, fluid mechanics and computational modelling.

At IDTechEx, Zehao is currently researching mobile robotics, autonomous vehicles and drones in logistics, warehousing and delivery. Other topics of interest include surgical robotics, service robotics and robot shuttles in smart cities.
