The OLLA project delivers its final milestone
At the end of the project period, the OLLA project consortium presents its final milestone: the basic technology for a white OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) light source, with an efficacy of 50.7 lumens per watt at an initial brightness of 1.000 cd/m² based on the Novaled PIN OLED technology. The OLLA project is a joint basic research consortium, headed by Philips Lighting.

Electrowetting Could be a Disruptive Technology for End Users
Philips Research in Eindhoven, the Netherlands have demonstrated that electrowetting is an attractive technology for the rapid manipulation of liquids on a micrometer scale and have shown that electrowetting can also be used to form the basis of a reflective display that is significantly faster than electrophoretic displays
