AZ entered the novel carbon business in 2012 with GNR and GO which were licensed from Rice University. We will discuss these materials and their potential applications including energy-storage, TCF, fiber, glass de-icing heater, gas barrier, etc.

Hiroshi Hara, AZ Global Marketing Director - New Technologies
Hiroshi started his career in sales and marketing helping AZ to grow their photoactive materials business from its early stage to become a global leading supplier for the flat panel display industry. He also helped the planning and development of PHPS business to establish the leading position in semiconductor and other industries. As AZ entered the novel carbon business, he was appointed Global Marketing Director - New Technologies to materialize the exciting opportunities. He is based in Tokyo and has B.A in economics from Waseda University and an MBA from University of Southern California.
