Dash Buttons, one press and product is delivered
2015年4月17日
Amazon has created Dash Buttons which are small plastic buttons that come with a reusable adhesive and a hook so you can hang, stick, or place them right where you need them.
The Dash Button can be used in the kitchen, bath, laundry, or anywhere that household products are stored. When a product is running low, simply press Dash Button, and Amazon quickly delivers the requested items.
Dash Button is simple to set up. Use the Amazon app on your smartphone to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and select the product you want to reorder, and the quantity of the product that will be ordered each time you press it, with Dash Button. Once connected, a single press automatically places your order. Amazon sends an order alert to your phone, which is easy to cancel if you change your mind. Unless you elect otherwise, Dash Button responds only to your first press until your order is delivered, so multiple presses do not deliver multiple products.
The original Amazon Dash required users to scan barcodes on products that were then delivered two days later, the new Dash Buttons are available by invitation only, with a limit to three buttons each. Limited brands will be available initially but more will be added in the future.
