Solid Power

Qingtao Energy Development
The foundation of QingTao Energy Development traces back to 2002 when a research team led by Professor Cewen Nan from Tsinghua University began exploring solid-state batteries. Early breakthroughs included the development of a lithium lanthanum titanate (LLTO) electrolyte in 2006 and a lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide (LLZO) electrolyte in 2010, both of which demonstrated excellent ionic conductivity and stability.
